Sunrise Bungalows is a 20 minutes drive from the volcano; 1 1/2 hours from the airport, and perched on the lush cliff overlooking Cook's Hat Bay. The bungalows are named after the spectacular ocean sunrises viewed from the elevated cliff location. Breathing in pure forest air overlooking the South Pacific Ocean on one side, or the deep jungle galleys below on the other is a real pleasure.

We are close to the shops, National Bank of Vanuatu, Markets, Restaurants, Air Vanuatu Agent, Wharf, and only 20 minute drive to Whitegrass Airport. The bungalows are overlooking beautiful rock pools and in the afternoon you can watch a beautiful sunset from our garden. The bungalows are quite modern with flyscreens on the windows, running water and electricity. There are 6 bungalows, with double beds and twin shares. Showers and toilets are separate for some bungalows.

ThisNauhiu tree house is the first place on the right when approaching Loanengo. Look carefully for the sign by the road (Nauhiu Banyan Tree Bungalow), the bungalow has a double and two single beds inside. Downstairs there is a simple toilet and shower (bucket showers). This is a friendly place and close to the Yasur volcano. Local tours can be arrange subject to demand

Mountain Breeze Bungalows is a community-involved project. It's off to the left of the road, not far past Loanengo.
The bungalow has a pleasant garden setting with four bungalows. The bungalows come with shared amenities (showers and toilet). The water supply is sourced in the mountains.

Jungle Oasis Lodge is near to the Mount Yasur Volcano. It's an enjoyable walk up to the crater in the afternoon (about one hour) and often you can hitch a ride down after sunset. The property has plenty of capacity with eight bungalows constructed of local materials in a garden setting; two twin bungalows, two triple bungalows, two family bungalows, one super bungalow (one room with a double and two single beds, a second room with two single beds) plus one bungalow with both a double and a single bed.

There are now four bungalows at Whispering Lodge. They have a total of 12 single beds and 6 doubles. The showers/toilets have a piped water supply connection. The restaurant has nice views towards the western mountains and meals are reported to be generous. They have a bar however BYO is acceptable.
