The beaches are fringed by reef which are reserved as conservation areas and abound with many varied large fish. Malaflaf prime position at Lutes Point means that there is many varied attractions and activities.
Rose Bay Bungalows, Malekula

On the mainland near the mouth of Orap River, a group of traditional bungalows with ensuites, set in gardens on a small black-sand bay. There is a comfortable dormitory style bungalow that sleeps 6. The food is good but bring your own drinks in the unlikely case the surrounding aren’t intoxicating enough. Driving is 45 minutes, along black sandy beach with the nice view of Wala Island. Your host is Peter Fidelio. Rose Bay has private facilities for couple rooms while dormitory has shared showers and bathrooms showers. All rooms are mosquito netted and window screened. Rose bay can accommodate up to 24 pax. Has onsite restaurant, and offers set menu, but you have to bring your own drinks.

Ngaim Orsel Guesthouse is on Uripiv Island, located in the middle of Jimes village which is a very friendly place with a good standard.
Kalki's guesthouse is a modern, two bedroom house. Each room has two single beds. All windows and doors are screened to keep out mosquitoes. Electric lighting is powered by solar. The toilet and shower are outside of the guesthouse. The toilet is a modern western toilet (bucket flush). Well water is used for bathing (bucket showers). Bath towels and toilet paper are supplied.
Jionmari Beach Bungalows, Uripiv, Malekula

Jionmari is on a quiet corner of Uripiv island. The bungalows are by a sandy beach with good swimming, snorkelling and a small coral reef conservation area. Jionmari's two bungalows are built using local materials. One has three single beds and the other was empty in December 2004. Mosquito nets are provided and the door is lockable (bring your own small padlock). Kerosene lamps are used for lighting.
